The Walking Dead Episode 3 Long Road Ahead Review!

The Walking Dead has yet again added another medal to the list, episode 3 shows just why The Walking Dead is the fastest rising franchise in the past couple of years.

The first two episodes of The Walking Dead: The Game slowly introduced players to a twisted world filled with zombies and crazies that forced us to make tough decisions based on how we thought our version of Lee would take these various scenarios. These different decisions that we have had to made in Episodes 1 and 2 have been able to give us a general outline of a “good and bad” way to do things. Episode 3 takes all of those defined lines and blurs them completely.

The more I play The Walking Dead: The Game, the more I feel my humanity slip away. I now feel like I make my choices on survival, they still are painful for me to make but I justify it by saying "I do this for Clementine".

As Lee, we see our group through some seriously screwed up and emotional moments, as well as a whole bunch of conversations and light gameplay problem solving. We see the most emotional scenes yet, my eyes teared up a few times but I remained strong!

We get introduced to more characters who add some interesting story and bring in some freshness to the game. It’s a harrowing fact but one that you won’t escape in a zombie-survival situation, the longer you survive often times will lead to fewer things to live for.

The game still suffers from the minor frame drops again, this time it was not as bad as usual though. This factor though is not a huge problem, if you have not purchased this game series yet now is the best time. If you love a strong story then this is for you, this game puts heavy rain to shame in terms of story.

9.5/10 best episode yet, delivers everywhere!

Walking Dead Episode 3 This Week!

Telltale Games said they'd probably releasing Episode Three of their Walking Dead adventure game this week and it seems they'll deliver on that promise. They plan to release the latest episode across multiple platforms across the next two days.

PSN users in North America will be able to download the episode today. The Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and European PS3 versions will go live on Wednesday. Individual episodes can be purchased for $4.99 on consoles, while PC and Mac players will have to spring for a $24.99 Season Pass for all five episodes.

Walking Dead: The Game features a cast of mostly new characters. In the wake of a zombie outbreak, a small group of human survivors have to depend on each other for safety. Players take on the role of Lee Everett, an escaped convict who reluctantly becomes a leader of this group.

While the game is being released as separate episodes, there are strong ties between each. Lee's decisions in one episode will have ramifications in later episodes. You might have to take sides in an argument between survivors or decide whether or not to let someone die.

In Episode 3, the survivors are beginning to turn on each other. They begin to suspect that there's a traitor in their midst. The group hits the road in order to find a new safe haven.

Milton,New Character Revealed

Robert Kirkman has said, "Milton is the details guy... He's the guy that works with the Governor, who is monitoring all situations and is trying to help the Governor make sense of this world that they're living in. He's not exactly a scientist, but he's a smart guy that is trying to find out how zombies behave. Watching him do his little experiments is going to be a lot of fun."

Furthermore Glen Mazzara put a word in as well as follows:

"We were examining, 'How do people survive in this apocalyptic world, and what can people contribute?'... And we didn't think it was plausible that every single character we meet is an efficient zombie killer. We just didn't buy that everyone we know would be active and deft enough to kill every walker. We wanted to show how other people survive, and Dallas has come in and helped us establish that character. He just adds a lot of heart and humanity to Woodbury, which further complicates what that is. That is a real town with real people and real survivors. It's not necessarily a group of bad guys."

The Walking Dead Issue 103 Cover

This cover is a real tease, will Rick give into Negan? Most likely not but I do really like this cover as we see Negan with his legendary weapon he used to kill Glenn, it is really interesting to see how this storyline will advance on. This is building up to a much bigger storyline than we have ever seen before.

Below is the cover for issue 103.

Why The Walking Dead Has Brought Life Back To The Zombie Character

George A. Romero brought zombies to our screen many years ago, since then we have seen many more creations in the zombie genre. From games to films and even books, over the years these have went downhill.

Resident Evil brought a successful representation of zombies even chucking in a really nice twist of all different super creations, since then though Resident Evil has fallen flat on its face. With a stream of terrible movies and games which are not close to as fun as the original games.

Films have gone downhill with some really lazy attempts at bringing zombies to our screen also, The Walking Dead proved though that George A. Romero had a winning formula and Kirkman has brought it back, he proves old style zombies can still be scary and gruesome.

Viewing figures prove that fans want what The Walking Dead gives, a zombie survival with the old scary zombies combined with an amazing storyline. With season 3 we will see these zombies yet again blow viewers away.
